Today was our Easter Egg Hunt. Sunday is Easter. We were picking up eggs from the grass. We put them in our basekts. We played Easter games. We hunted for five eggs first. We looked in the grass, on the hill, at car-riders and under the bench we sit on.

We have been learning about animals. The cow lives on a farm. A chicken lays eggs. People ride horse. The goat eats grass. Cows give you some milk. They eat food like grass. A dog eats dog food on the farm. Cats eat cat food.
A farmer works on the farm. He feeds the animals. He rakes up leaves. He helps milk the cows.

Skeletons are bones that help us stand up and move. Bones in your toes help your feet. Bones in your arm make your elbow move.

Last week we went inside the firetruck to take pictures. We got out of the truck and came inside. The firetruck sounds like “whoowhoowhoo.” And they got the ladder out. They raise up the ladder to save people. When there’s a huge fire they get the ladder way up in the sky and spray water. The water is sprayed with a hose. The fireman taught us to stop, drop, and roll and to crawl on our knees. He taught us how to get out of the house and call the police at 911. They taught us to stay out of the house. Nobody goes back in except the firefighters. In school we made firetrucks. We all got stickers and fire hats.

We learned about shapes and different colors. Shoes have different colors and shapes. Some shoes are pink and white. One shape is a circle. Blue is a color, and yellow. Tomorrow we will wear green! The triangle is like a bicycle or tricycle because the tricycle has three weheels and triangles has three corners and three sides.

In Kindergarten we write and play in centers. Housekeeping is a good center because we cook food. We have a mop and a new sweeper. Drawing is fun because we draw pictures for Mom and Dad. At the computer we play games. In the sand center we make castles.
